What role do clouds play in climate change? In an effort to understand that question, the hosts of Fix This Podcast invited Philip Stier on the program. Fix This is a bi-weekly podcast focusing on the ways in which technology can make the world a better place. Stier, a Professor of Atmospheric Physics at the University of Oxford and 2018 Machine Learning Research Award recipient, talked about how researchers use machine learning to better understand clouds and extreme weather patterns, and in turn, climate change.
