Amazon women in science and engineering panel discuss STEM diversity
Five women who work at Amazon hosted a panel discussion on the importance of innovation and diversity in STEM during INFORMS 2020.
Amazon is a Platinum sponsor of INFORMS 2020, a conference promoting best practices and advances in operations research, management science, and analytics to improve operational processes, decision-making and outcomes.
In alignment with this operations-focused conference, data science manager Tessa Childers-Day, forecasting science director Ping Xu, vice president of Amazon Flex and Hub Muge Erdirik Dogan, principal product manager Irene Song. and senior operations research scientist Ozlem Bilginer hosted a discussion on the importance of diversity in STEM.
