Job summaryIn this role, you will lead a team of Business Intelligence Engineers and Data scientists to build a suite of tools and analytical methodologies providing a view of the current performance (descriptive analytics), what the drivers are (diagnostic analytics), identify growth opportunities and early-stage trend (Predictive analytics), and how to capitalize on these to accelerate growth (prescriptive analytics). In particular, you will lead the analysis of potential and existing advertisers’ data to understand who Amazon Ads customers are, why and how they invest with us, and what makes them come back or drives them away. You will communicate measurement results to stakeholders, and translate technical framework to business-recommendations to attract, retain, and develop customer’ engagement with Amazon Ads. Beyond this you will lead the team in developing and supporting best-in-class data science methodologies and building model to address ambiguous business questions and forecast the impact of demand initiatives for long term growth. You can extract insights from data and clearly communicate recommendations to leadership and stakeholdersYou are a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
