A day in the life As a Research Scientist, you will partner on design and development of AI-powered systems to scale job analyses enterprise-wide, match potential candidates to the jobs they’ll be most successful in, and conduct validation research for top-of-funnel AI-based evaluation tools. EDS is hiring a Principal Economist to answer these questions for our European business. The role will work collaboratively with European leaders, Finance teams, and the global Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT) team. The role will require experience in technical methods at the frontier of economics to develop formal models to understand the past and the present, predict the future, and identify relevant risks and opportunities. We are looking for a researcher in cutting-edge LLM technologies for applications across Alexa, AWS, and other Amazon businesses.
